WALT use our senses in our writing to paint a picture in the reader's head. Also we are trying to put 4 pieces of action to make others read on in our story.
Here is my attempt:
There was a little, golden, furry squirrel. He lived in the dark, green, slimy and mossy forest. He had a happy and beautiful life in the forest.
Until one day, the squirrel saw some builders wearing red tops and yellow hats. They had fierce yellow diggers and excavators with giant buckets.
They had a plan to take trees out and clear the whole forest. The squirrel heard the secret plan of the builders. The time was going by very fast. The diggers started to clear the forest.
The squirrel's legs were shaking. He was petrified! His heart was beating as fast as a train. Something came through his mind. His grandpa was speaking to him. His grandpa said “Don’t be frightened. Be bold and brave. Stretch out your hands and say stop!”
So he listened to his grandfather and said “STOP!” to the builders. The builders started laughing “ha ha ha ha ha.” The squirrel got annoyed, he got another secret plan. He sneaked behind the builders and bit all their legs. They said “AHHHHHHHHH! That hurts!”
They quickly ran out of the forest. They never returned to the forest ever again. “Don’t mess with the little guy” he said.
The End
