WALT do the Summer Learning Journey. This is my last activity in Week 1 Day 5
New Zealand is a wonderful place filled with beautiful landscapes. New Zealand has tall towers and high buildings. There are amazing sights and activities like doing bungee jumping, watching the clouds at the sky tower and riding Jet Ski's.
I am a student at Hornby Primary School. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Hi Joel,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Susie and I am a member of the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) team this year. I agree with you that we live in such a beautiful country surrounded by beautiful landscape. Are there any amazing nature spots down in Christchurch? One of my favourite spots up here in Auckland is called Muriwai beach. If you haven't had a chance to visit Auckland yet, you should definitely do so in the future!
I personally would be too scared to go bungee jumping even though it is on my bucket list. A bucket list is a list of things that you want to do or achieve during your lifetime. What do you want to put on your bucket list?
Looking forward to blogging with you this summer Joel! Let's have heaps of fun learning about our environment :)
Take care,
Susie
Namaskaram Joel,
ReplyDeleteThis is Susie again. How are you doing? I hope you are enjoying the last bit of your summer holidays before school starts. Do you have any exciting news to share with us?
I thought I might make a quick visit to give you a friendly reminder that our team members will be online until the 25th of January. This means you are more than welcome to continue on with your SLJ activities. You have put in lots of effort into your posts and I'd love to see more of them before this journey comes to an end. Please join us if you have time to blog!
I hope to see you around :)
All the best,
Susie
